Traveling on 2 wheels with us old broads…

The Enchanted Circle

There is a scenic drive that stretches from Taos to Red River to Eagle Nest, Angel Fire and back. This is called the Enchanted Circle and after a fabulous breakfast at Michael’s Kitchen (that would be huevos rancheros with red and green chili sauce!) we took off for a little drive.

Snow, snow and more snow. It was a beautiful drive and we stopped along the way to tour a working pottery studio. It was pretty neat and they explained the entire process including the wood-fired kiln. Some really nice pieces and we probably would have bought something….except I would have had to go back to work! Just saying.

Back to Taos early enough to pack up our yard art purchases. Plus, a few more pieces added via phone from Texarkana. I’m so glad we’re in the pickup!

And remember last summer when we visited Black Mesa Winery? Well we had a special request to pick up another bottle there. Sorry, not sharing names!

To finish our day, we settled on Guadalahara Grill. All I can say is the fish tacos were great but the shrimp tacos were better! See you tomorrow
