Lagneaux’s

We rolled into Lafayette a little past 6. Once we checked into the motel and got a good supper referral we were headed to Lagneaux’s for a seafood buffet. I won’t take up much more of your time except to tell you what all was on the buffet…. shrimp etoufee, seafood gumbo, boudin, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, fried catfish, chicken and sausage gumbo, shrimp pasta, onion rings, fries, crab cakes and shrimp cakes, boiled crawfish, frog legs…. should I continue? I won’t because I know you get the idea! What we tried was delicious.

Back in the room now planning tomorrow’s route. The Louisiana HOG rally starts here tomorrow so we will probably run by the CajunDome before we leave town. And Cajun H-D is not really that far out of the way so we’ll probably check them out too! Then we are only about 5-6 hours from Camden and that would be where we are headed tomorrow!

It’s been a really good trip so far…in spite of the rain on the first day!
